I can't thank Sarah & Jesper enough for parting with him and I realise it must have been so very hard after he had moved countries with them and spent so much time with them. Odin will be a treasured part of my family and a valued addition to the SnoFyre show team here in Australia.
It was a sad goodbye at Stockholm airport for Sarah of Lapinlumon Kennels as she said goodbye to Odin (Lapinlumon Velho). Now is the hard part as we all wait anxiously for him to arrive safely in Sydney and then spend the required 30 days in quarentine.

After being out of the ring for awhile, Niina, Magnus and I ventured out to Port Stephens Dog Sports Club Shows for the weekend with some great results.Niina (Aust Ch Sibermoon Niina) from three shows was 2 x Best of Breed, 1 x RUBOB & 3 x Bitch Challenge for a total of 23 points. Magnus (Aust GR Ch Theldaroy green with NV (AI) was 2 x RUBOB & 2 x Dog Challenge for 13 points. The conditions were windy and cold but a great day was had by everyone. Junior Handlers was also held at this event and I am so pleased that my dogs are always sought out by the juniors. Gentle tempraments and a willingness to please are evident in the way they react to these young stars of the future. Pictured above is Keely with Magnus after she had won 3rd place in the 10-U13 yrs age group First time junior handler Monique, is pictured with Niina after placing 3rd in the 7-U10yrs age group. I was very impressed with Monique's handling considering she had met Niina for the first time that day and had never handled a dog in the show ring before. Well done Monique & Keely!! |
