The FLCNSW challenged the FLCV at Albury during the weekend of the 19th-21st April. It was a great chance to catch up with friends from interstate and share some good times and cheer on some winners and there were quite a few!!
Records were broken daily with the Saturday having the highest number of Finnish Lapphunds at an All breeds Show in Australia (46), 11 classes in Group over the weekend converted to 5 classes in Show. The Lappies dominated the rings!!
Some highlights for me were Suri- Finnesse Aim for Success (AI) (Multi Ch Fidelis Duuri x Ch Findol Fade to Black) winning Puppy in Show, Aurora-Rose-Ch Articmal Dynamic Fortune winning the very competitive Open bitch class, ably handled by Greg Hunt on the first day.
It was also a chance to catch up with a little darling from the Alluring Litter, Tammy-Snofyre Alluring Athena was there with her humans (Rodney & Lyle) and it was also time for me to hand over Izzy-Snofyre Alluring Aphrodite to her new owner Rodney. Izzy had been campaigned in NSW & Qld for some lovely wins.
The second day showing saw NSW ahead in the points and a brilliant surprise win with Rodney & Izzy winning Reserve Bitch Challenge and Puppy in Group at just 7 months old. I look forward to hearing of their wins in the future.
The last day was also a chance to get a family photo with some of the Alluring kids.
